How to convert PNG to PDF in your browser

    The completed PDF is opened again inside the browser. Its page count, page sizes, and embedded image dimensions must all match before the download button appears.

How does PNG to PDF preserve lossless pixels?

Each PNG is embedded through the PDF writer's native PNG path. The image keeps its lossless source pixels, pixel dimensions, and alpha channel. Nothing is resampled, re-encoded, or downscaled, so a screenshot of small type stays as readable in the PDF as it was on screen.

Transparency is preserved rather than flattened onto white, which matters for a logo or an interface capture with rounded corners. The verifier then reopens the completed PDF and checks every page size and the raw pixel width and height of every embedded PNG before the download appears.

Lossless also means large. A set of PNG screenshots can weigh more than the application that produced them, because no lossy compression exists anywhere in the chain. If the finished file is too big to email, run it through Compress PDF, or open Size breakdown first to see which pages carry the weight.

When should I convert PNG to PDF here?

What happens to transparent areas?

Does it make screenshot text selectable?
No. Text inside a PNG is made of pixels. This conversion does not run OCR.

Why is my PDF larger than the PNG files?
PNG is lossless, and the PDF stores those exact pixels. There is no lossy compression anywhere in the chain, so the file stays close to the size of the source images. Use Compress PDF to reduce it if needed.
